Podcast | The Road to Wellness: Addressing Obesity Among Truck Drivers

What can truck drivers do to adopt a healthier lifestyle?

An estimated 70% of commercial truck drivers are obese, and their life expectancy is 16 years lower than the national average. Clearly, something needs to be done to improve driver health while also addressing the national shortage of qualified drivers. On this topic, we spoke with Brandon Rothrock, Founder and CEO of B-Lean Fitness, a weight-loss training service designed exclusively for truck drivers. We’ll discuss why it’s so difficult to stay healthy on the road, where the only options for regular meals are often truck stops and fast food. Good nutrition, exercise, and weight management are critical considerations in the lives of today’s drivers. Hosted by Bob Bowman, Editor-in-Chief of Supply chain brain.
