Texas A&M football team defeats Fairfield 3-0

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – After a disappointing home opener against Denver on Wednesday night, the Aggies bounced back against Fairfield on Saturday night.

In front of a crowd of more than 5,000 fans at their annual Fish Camp game, A&M asserted their dominance from the start.

The Aggies got on the scoreboard early thanks to a rocket from Mia Pante from outside the penalty area to give A&M a 1-0 lead.

Sydney Becerra increased the lead in the 33rd minute with a free kick.

A few minutes later, Leah Pirro puts in a perfect corner kick for Margo Matula to head in and make it 3-0 up.

Next up, A&M heads to Baylor on Friday for an 8 p.m. game.
