Texas A&M soccer shuts out Fairfield, 3-0

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – After a disappointing home opener against Denver on Wednesday night, the Aggies bounced back against Fairfield Saturday night.

In front of their annual Fish Camp Game crowd of over 5,000 fans, A&M asserted their dominance early.

The Aggies got on the board early thanks to a Mia Pante rocket from outside the penalty box to give A&M a 1-0 lead.

Sydney Becerra added to the lead in the 33rd minute off of a free kick.

A few minutes later, Leah Pirro places a corner kick perfectly for Margo Matula to get a head on to take a 3-0 lead.

Up next, A&M heads to Baylor on Friday for an 8 pm match.
