Mariah May to Toni Storm: Thank you, I love you, you’re going to die at AEW All In

Mariah May has a bold message for Toni Storm.

The dynamic storyline between Mariah May and AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm has evolved over the past year. Throughout the storyline, May dressed up as Storm and became a star in her own right. After winning the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, she turned on Storm. The rivalry has since exploded and May will challenge Storm for the title at AEW All In.

Speaking to Shirleigh for Fightful at a media event ahead of AEW All In, Mariah May was asked about dressing up as Toni Storm for several months.

“It was a little bit different, but I’m an actress and I love playing roles, and Toni Storm and everyone else thought that all I wanted to do was be like Toni Storm, which is not entirely untrue, I want to be Toni Storm, I want to be the face of this division. I want to do all the things that she did. That’s why I have to kill it. Wearing her clothes, which let’s be honest, aren’t as nice as mine, was a little bit of a challenge, but I did what I had to do. I put myself in her shoes, I made her believe everything so that I could get to this exact moment.” May said.

As for her own outfit at AEW All In, May joked that she had three options and that they were from different countries. She noted that she was trying to decide which outfit would be most appropriate for Storm’s funeral.

“As I am The Glamour, I have three options, and they are all from different countries: the US, the UK and Japan, so I am deciding which one is most suitable for Toni Storm’s funeral. They are all completely quaint and inappropriate for a funeral, which is understandable because I have no respect for you, Toni Storm.” May said.

May was also asked if other shoes could work as a weapon of choice, and she pointed to YSL heels. May also claimed that wearing Storm’s shoe was appropriate, and that she would leave that shoe on her grave once she hit her.

“There are YSL heels, which literally have the YSL logo as a heel. I would love to put that on Toni Storm’s forehead. But the fact that she could use her disgusting granny shoe, from who knows what charity shop she got it from, to put it on seemed like the most appropriate thing to do, and I think once I finally put Toni Storm in the cemetery, I will leave the shoe on her grave.” May said.

When asked to send a final message to Storm, Mariah May was short and sweet. She said she loved Toni and thanked her, but declared that the champion was going to die.

“Toni, I love you, I thank you, and you are going to die.” May said.

During the interview, May was eager to celebrate her victory over Toni Storm. Check out her comments here.
