Food poisoning: 2 women die of suspected food poisoning in Kandhamal district

Berhampur: Two The women died and Another 15 people fell ill due to suspicion food poisoning in Budenpadar and Baragaon villages under Jhiripani panchayat of Kandhamal district in the last three days. The deceased were identified as Bilasini Majhi (55) of Baragaon and Sushri Majhi (75) of Budenpadar. Sources said the victims complained of stomach pain and started vomiting after attending a community party on August 22. “The affected patients are under treatment and the situation is under control,” said Bijay Panda, chief medical officer of Kandhamal district.
