Oshkosh man missing, believed to have been picked up and taken to Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Silver Alert has been issued for an 89-year-old Oshkosh man.

Authorities describe Allen Alphonso as an 89-year-old black male, approximately 5’7″ tall and weighing 170 lbs. Alphonso has short, partially gray hair with a receding hairline and brown eyes.

He was last seen on Saturday, August 24th around 9:00 a.m. near Jackson and Amherst in Oshkosh.

It is unknown what clothes he was last wearing.

Authorities say Alphonso is believed to have left Oshkosh before 9 a.m. and was picked up by an unidentified friend and taken to Milwaukee.
