Speaking to the ‘Daily Mirror’, Dr Antony said that invitations to attend the launch of his massage system have been sent out to VIPs, members of the media and representatives of embassies because he believes that these guests can take the message about his therapeutic practices to a wider audience across the world. “When people witness my healing skills in person and experience my healing touch first-hand, those memories will not fade so easily,” said Dr Antony.

Dr Antony has many years of experience in the sport as a taekwondo instructor and referee and has helped many people in his community maintain health and well-being through his therapeutic practices. He says that seeing villagers rubbing their bodies against trees and using stones to scrub their bodies influenced him to research the topic of massage. “Watching villagers scrub and rub their bodies, I understood that one can be self-sufficient in health without relying on endurance.

Later, through my studies in medical history, anatomy and particularly focusing on the spine and skeletal system, I understood the benefits of massage. “The spinal column area leads to the correlation of spinal nerves and their connections to various organs and health conditions. Every part of the body is controlled by nerves and each nerve connects directly or indirectly to the spine. Hence, I understood the potential benefits of massaging the spinal column area,” is how he describes the small points that connect to form the long path in his journey as an alternative medicine practitioner and therapeutic healer.

He goes on to say: “Drawing on my extensive experience and knowledge of various massage systems and complementary therapies, I have integrated this knowledge into the creation of this innovative massage technique that I am about to present to the public.”

Dr Antony is a multi-talented individual and his interests and qualifications span areas such as acupuncture and the study of human rights. He holds a PhD (MA) in Human Rights from the UK. He also had the opportunity to serve on the International Council of Reflexologists as one of its former directors.
Dr Antony, who lives in Hendala, Wattala, is still actively involved in conducting taekwondo classes at his residence when he is not in his clinic attending to sick patients.
