Bill Belichick and Peyton Manning will have their own show on ESPN

FOXBORO — Bill Belichick has added another television job to his schedule this football season, and he’ll once again be teaming up with a former foe: Peyton Manning.

While it was announced a few months ago that Belichick will appear on Manning’s alternate broadcast of Monday Night Football, the former Patriots head coach and former Colts and Broncos quarterback will also be getting his own talk show on ESPN. But this won’t be another one of those annoying interviewer-driven talk shows that the network has become famous for.

Instead, Belichick and Manning will be analyzing some football on an appropriately named show. The collapseThe 30-minute show will focus on that week’s Monday Night Football game and will premiere Friday, Sept. 6 on ESPN+. The first game to be previewed will be the New York Jets vs. San Francisco 49ers matchup from Week 1.

The Belichick-Manning pairing will be interesting and intriguing, given the relationship they had throughout Manning’s playing career. Manning went just 8-12 against Belichick’s Patriots, but he always had a lot of respect for Belichick and Tom Brady in New England. That feeling was mutual between the two Patriots.

Now, the enemies turned friends will have their own 30-minute football-analysing programme. Excellent analysis from both sides is expected, with a touch of ironic humour.
