3 people, including a man arrested on child pornography charges, accused of crimes against a mortgage company: Pinellas Park Police Department

Three people, including a man previously arrested on child pornography charges, are behind bars for crimes against a mortgage company, investigators said.

The Pinellas Park Police Department said Lisa Falcon, Derrick Epstein and Ryan Ives were arrested Tuesday. Ives was already facing 20 counts of possession of child pornography from a previous arrest.

PPPD detectives said they were notified of a loan taken out in Ives’ name in July. Their investigation revealed the three suspects were conspiring to fabricate false documents to obtain a personal loan to cover Ives’ attorney fees and bail, according to police.

During the loan process, authorities said Ives was still incarcerated due to his original arrest. Investigators discovered Epstein posed as Ives to obtain the loan.

The three suspects were also heard on recorded jail phone calls talking about completing the loan, according to PPPD.

The trio were found, taken into custody and sent to the Pinellas County Jail for crimes against a mortgage company.
