Wauwatosa police release body camera video of Taser incident last May

WAUWATOSA — Wauwatosa police have released body camera video of an incident at the center of a TMJ4 Lighthouse investigation.

It shows what led officers to electrocute a 37-year-old man in a cemetery last May.

Johnny George went into cardiac arrest and was knocked unconscious after being shot with a Taser. George’s wife, Sonny, says this happened during a memorial service at Pinelawn Cemetery after they called 911 to get medical help for someone else.
