Miss Ramona Scholarship Pageant Seeks Contestants for 2025 – San Diego Union-Tribune

The Miss Ramona Scholarship Pageant is now accepting applications from young women between the ages of 10 and 26 who want to compete for the title of queen by 2025.

Miss Ramona, Teen Miss Ramona and Preteen Jr. Miss Ramona are youth ambassadors for the Ramona community, said pageant director Noelle Day. As official representatives of their city, they strive to engage with Ramona organizations and residents through community service and volunteering, Day said.

“Participating in the Miss Ramona pageant helps these young women grow in personal strength and character, finding their voice and personal confidence through their work as representatives of their area,” Day said.

An orientation for ladies aspiring to be the next Miss Teen or Preteen Jr. Miss Ramona will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Ramona Junior Fair building, 421 Aqua Lane in Ramona.

The parade is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Mountain View Community Church, 1191 Meadowlark Way.

Hannah Ferguson, 18, is Miss Ramona 2024. Ferguson is beginning her freshman year at Montana State University, where she is majoring in bioengineering. Last June, she graduated from Ramona High School, where she was captain of the girls’ tennis team, vice president of the Ramona Junior Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the National Honor Society and track team.

Keely Townley, 15, is Teen Miss Ramona 2024. The Ramona High School sophomore participates in Girl Scouts and is on the girls’ junior varsity tennis and girls’ varsity lacrosse teams.

Tarin Kilcoyne, 12, is Ramona’s first-ever Junior Pre-Teen Miss Ramona 2024. The Olive Peirce Middle School seventh-grader is also a student at Step-by-Step Dance School in Rancho Bernardo. Kilcoyne will compete on the dance school’s Elite Dance Team and join its jazz and lyrical teams, in addition to participating in ballet and acrobatics classes.

Rounding out the Miss Ramona court are the princesses. The Miss Ramona Princesses for 2024 are Natalie Wrenn and Nicole Petersen. The Miss Ramona Teen Princess is Grayce Padilla and the Miss Ramona Junior Tween Princess is Ella Iwaszkiewicz.
