Hoda Kotb celebrates her daughters’ first day of school with a cute video

Hoda Kotb is proud of her two little girls!

On Tuesday, September 4th, the Today The 60-year-old talk show host shared a sweet photo of her two daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 4, celebrating an important moment in their lives.

“First day of school in the books ,” the news anchor captioned an Instagram carousel.

In the first photo, Kotb was beaming with a huge smile on her face, while her little ones stood by her side in similar denim dresses with backpacks on. The three of them posed in front of a house for the family photo.

Kotb shared a video on the second slide, which showed the girls, now at school, hugging each other in excitement.

Last week, the TV star told her Today with Hoda and Jenna Co-host Jenna Bush Hager said her daughters were excited to move into a new home.

“The kids will have their own rooms,” Kotb said. “There are three rooms upstairs: mine, one for Haley and one for Hope. And they’re really excited to have their own space.”

“They’re excited about a reading chair, a bean bag chair, and their bed, that kind of thing.”

Kotb is not the only one Today anchor whose children have a lot to be excited about.

Craig Melvin recently shared that his two children, son Delano, 10, and daughter Sybil, 7, whom he shares with wife Lindsay Czarniak, will also be returning to school.

“…and so it was. These two make me so happy and proud. I just wish everything would calm down,” the 45-year-old journalist wrote in an Instagram photo of the siblings.

The photo showed the two children standing side by side holding signs to celebrate the special occasion.

Delano’s sign read, “First day of 5th grade,” while her little sister Sybil’s said, “First day of 2nd grade.” A heart was added to her message.

Meanwhile, on August 26, Savannah Guthrie posted an adorable Instagram Reel of herself, husband Michael Feldman, son Charley, 7, and daughter Vale, 10.

“Holding on to the last of summer ,” she wrote alongside a video of the family of four spending time together outdoors. The footage was set to the song “Sunshine” by OneRepublic.

Guthrie, 52, added an “out of office” graphic to the video.

However, on Tuesday, Guthrie returned to the office and brought her children with her to join Stephen Curry, Roger Federer and Rachel Platten at the Today place.
