Ben Affleck’s cousin calls herself the new ‘Jenny on the block’ amid actor’s divorce from Jennifer Lopez

Ben Affleck’s cousin has declared herself “the new Jenny on the block” after Jennifer Lopez officially filed for divorce from the actor last month.

Jennifer Affleck, who is married to Ben’s first cousin Zac Affleck, referenced the estranged couple’s relationship in a TikTok video shared over the weekend.

The 25-year-old “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star was spotted getting her hair done by co-star Jessi Ngatikaura in a post set to J.Lo’s 2002 hit, “Jenny from the Block.”

“The new Jenny on the block ,” the influencer captioned the video, not-so-subtly mentioning Ben’s breakup with the pop star while lip-syncing the lyrics.

The influencer was immediately inundated with criticism in the comments section of her post.

“Releasing Jennifer Lopez’s song as Ben Affleck’s cousin-in-law in the middle of her divorce is diabolical,” one person argued.

“You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to hook up with JLO. She’s not with Ben anymore. Anyway, stop doing that, you fake,” wrote a second netizen.

“It’s incredibly tasteless and immature to use her song when they’re in the middle of a divorce. It’s completely insensitive. You should stay out of people’s divorces. It’s so wrong,” said a third defender of the singer.

As Page Six reported last month, the “Argo” actor’s distant relative will make her reality TV debut in Hulu’s new series about a group of influential Mormon moms in the wake of a “sex scandal,” according to a press release from the streaming platform.

Her husband Zac’s father is Ben’s first cousin and his brother, Casey Affleck.

“I’m so excited for everyone to get a little more insight into my life as a young mother and wife,” Jen told Page Six in August while promoting the series, which premieres Friday.

“I’m also excited that people are reconsidering their perception of Mormons and questioning their thinking when it comes to me, my marriage, and my #MomTok friends.”

This isn’t the first time Jen has referenced the “Maid in Manhattan” actress’s marriage to Ben.

In a 2022 TikTok video, she was seen dancing to a nursery rhyme while her baby crawled.

She captioned the post: “When you thought you were gonna be the next J.Lo… But instead… she stole your name… and you’re downgrading it to Miss Rachel.”

“I can’t forget that Ben Affleck is my husband’s second cousin,” she continued.

Ben and Lopez were married for almost two years before split rumors began circulating in May 2023.

The “Hustlers” star filed for divorce from the Oscar winner last month, setting an official separation date of April 26, 2024.
