According to Bike Walk Macon, the event and fundraiser will take cyclists on a slow, scenic 7-mile ride through downtown Macon and local neighborhoods on Friday, November 1.

The tour begins at 6:30 p.m. at Cherry Street Plaza and welcomes both newcomers and experienced riders.

Organizers said the trip is more than just a fun experience.

“The event will serve as a strong statement in support of bike-friendly infrastructure, multi-modal transportation options, and a thriving cycling community,” a statement read. “By participating, cyclists will directly contribute to the mission of Bike Walk Macon and help raise essential funds to support future community events, educational programs, and advocacy initiatives.”
