Harrison County Grand Jury indicts 49 people, including 4 for murder in Clarksburg

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) – A grand jury has indicted 49 people in Harrison County for the period ending in September 2024. The full list is shown at the bottom of this story.

Four people have been charged in connection with the murder and kidnapping of Dallion Lewis in February.

Dennis High, who was originally charged with the murder, is charged with one count of murder, one count of kidnapping and one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Jennifer Kirk, who was the second person arrested in the incident, is charged with one count of murder, one count of kidnapping and one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Investigators said Kirk participated in Lewis’ kidnapping by using deception to transport him.

Douglas Steiner is charged with one count of accessory to murder, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of maintaining an unlawful dwelling, which are also believed to be related to Lewis’ murder.

Steiner was arrested in connection with the murder about two weeks after it occurred.

Kameron Griffin, of Akron, Ohio, is charged with one count of murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping, one count of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, and one count of use or presentation of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Griffin was arrested about three weeks after the murder at an Ohio residence. Investigators say Griffin shot Lewis twice during the kidnapping.
