Cross Country – Week 1
The 2024 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference cross country season kicked off with nine programs in action on both the men’s and women’s side. Male Runner of the Week: Alexander Bozhilov, University of Dallas
University of Dallas freshman Alexander Bozhilov from Sofia, Bulgaria has been selected as the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the races held on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31. Full statement

Runner of the Week: Josette Gurule, Trinity University
Trinity University’s Josette Gurule, a junior from Santa Fe, NM, has been selected as the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the races held on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31. Full statement


Men’s Soccer – Week 1
Eleven of the 12 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s soccer teams began the 2024 season last week, posting an overall record of 10-5-4, highlighted by Colorado College, Southwestern, McMurry, Texas Lutheran, Trinity and Concordia (TX) remaining undefeated. Offensive Player of the Week: Jack Hilliard, Colorado College

Women’s football – Week 1

Volleyball – Week 1
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball season began last week with all 11 teams in action, which collectively posted an 18-19 record against non-conference opponents.
