Cosmopolitan has an exclusive first look at Nataha’s latest series, How to die alonewhich she not only stars in, but also created. The series follows Mel, “a black, fat, broke JFK airport employee who has never been in love and forgotten how to dream, until an accidental brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary,” according to Hulu.

Joining her is Conrad Ricamora as Rory, her co-worker and best friend, who you’ll definitely want by your side when you’re searching for a famous pop star. Will they manage to find her? You’ll have to watch the clip above to find out!
