Travis Kelce shares how he handles Taylor Swift’s fanfare

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce told “CBS Mornings” he’s ready to get back to “normal” when football season begins after a whirlwind summer. Touring the world with his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Kelce said it’s hard to name just one Swift hit as his favorite.

“They’re all my favorites, literally all of them. You’ll see me in concert, you’ll see me singing them all,” she told CBS News correspondent Jamie Yuccas in an interview on “CBS Mornings.”

Kelce has agreed to be one half of what fans describe as the ultimate power couple.

“I guess it’s the life I chose. I have fun with it,” Kelce said, adding that “it’s part of the job.”

Her family has also had to adjust to the extra attention that comes with a celebrity romance.

“Everyone loves it. Mom Kelce… she’s having a blast. My dad is slowly getting used to it. And Jason has always been a pro at it,” Kelce said.

Jason, a Philadelphia Eagles legend, announced his retirement of the NFL in a tearful news conference in March after 13 seasons, including a Super Bowl championship.

“It’s always been my goal to play my entire career in one city. And I couldn’t have dreamed of a better one or a better fit if I tried,” Jason said at the time. “I don’t know what’s next, but I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. And I know that I carry with me the lessons of my time here and that we can all forever share the bond of being Philadelphians.”

Kelce and his brother, “New Heights” co-hostsIt recently struck a $100 million deal with Amazon’s Wondery for its popular podcast.

“I’ll always be grateful for the person that my brother is in my life. He’s always been the guy that I can lean on. And, uh, yeah, a moment like that, where he finally gave up and hung up. It was definitely one of the most emotional moments I’ve had with him,” Kelce said.

Kelce is ready to make a splash this season, starting with his latest project: a spectacular remake of an iconic Pepsi commercial. In the spot, he is featured among the “NFL gladiators.”

The new commercial, which debuted on “CBS Mornings” on Thursday, gets him excited for another NFL season.

“I’m ready to get the rookies involved, get the offseason workouts done and everything together, and I’m sure come game day it’s going to be a blast,” Kelce said.

The Chiefs are gearing up for Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium, and fans are already wondering if Swift will return to the stands.

“Why do you think people support you?” Yuccas asked Kelce.

“I hope it’s because they see that I’m a really good person and I love what I do and I love doing it with the people I do it with. I’d rather give everyone happiness and something to be happy about,” she said.
