Man accused of dismembering bodies indicted on murder charges, Grainger County DA says

GRAINGER CO., Tenn. (WVLT) – A Morristown man who was accused of killing two people was indicted, Fourth District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn told WVLT News.

Aaron White was indicted on two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of abuse of a corpse by a Grainger County grand jury on Aug. 28.

White was arrested in connection to a double homicide that happened in May. According to investigators, White killed 49-year-old Jon Atkins and 32-year-old Deven McDaniel, whose bodies were discovered along Rocky Springs Road in Bean Station on May 25.

Dunn said White’s next court appearance was set for December.
