Demarketh King is accused of robbing Little Caesar’s in Muscle Shoals

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (WAFF) – The Muscle Shoals Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for a Chatanooga man on a robbery charge.

On August 20, Muscle Shoals Police Department officers and detectives responded to a robbery call at Little Caesar’s on Woodward Ave.

During the investigation, detectives obtained video evidence and developed Demarketh Larmon King, 35, of Chattanooga, as a suspect.

King and the car he was driving were turned over to all MSPD officers. Officers also reported that King had an active arrest warrant for a traffic violation in Muscle Shoals.

Through information gathered working with multiple agencies, it was discovered that King was leaving the area to possibly return to Chattanooga.

Other agencies were alerted to this in an attempt to locate King while MSPD officers were still on alert in case he returned to the Shoals area.

On Sept. 4, an MSPD school resource officer recognized King’s vehicle in the pick-up and drop-off line at Howell Graves Preschool.

The security officer put the preschool on code yellow. The security officer then noticed that King was no longer in the car and observed him running on foot in front of the school.

In an attempt by the SRO to prevent King from trespassing on any other school property, he was detained without incident.

The king was officially arrested for the traffic violation and a warrant was obtained for his arrest for first-degree robbery.

He was transported to the Muscle Shoals Police Department before being taken to the Colbert County Jail, where he is being held without bond pending an Aniah’s Law hearing.
