Park Hill students withdraw from activity due to discipline of a fellow student

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A student’s suspension at Park Hill High School prompted students to walk out of school Thursday. The student, who is biracial, told KCTV5 he was suspended for violence, but said another student, who is white, provoked the incident and did not face any penalties.

Park Hill High School has about 1,800 students. About 50 of them stood on the grass in front of the school holding signs denouncing his suspension as unfair. Colby Barker said he was suspended for seven school days. The suspension ends Monday.
