Steady and heavy rains are expected on Friday in some neighborhoods

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A flood watch is in effect for Franklin and Liberty counties through Saturday night.

Steady, heavy rain is possible in these two counties as a low pressure system approaches the Big Bend later Friday afternoon.

Steady rain is not ruled out for other areas of Big Bend and southern Georgia.

On Friday, it looks like the weather will be rainy for most of us from the afternoon until the evening.

Saturday will also bring another round of steady rain and thunderstorms.

High temperatures will remain between 80 and 85 degrees for the next few days.

Temperatures will remain between 80 and 89 degrees next week with less rain in the forecast.
