Join Magic Radio and an all-star cast of West End stars for an unforgettable afternoon of musical performances from the theatre’s most iconic and beloved shows, accompanied by a chorus of Christmas classics.

Hosted by Magic at the Musicals presenter Lucie Jones and theatre star David Hunter, and backed by a world-class band, Magic Radio’s West End Christmas will bring a touch of festive magic to the London Palladium on the evening of Sunday 17 November.

So gather your family and friends and prepare to be dazzled by sensational performances from actress and singer Carrie Hope Fletcher, your hosts Lucie and David, as well as a special appearance from everyone’s favourite duo Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, who will take to the stage with musical theatre hits and your favourite Christmas songs.

Lucie Jones

Award-winning actress and solo artist Lucie Jones rose to fame when she reached the final of ITV’s The X Factor in 2009. Following the TV show, Lucie embarked on a sell-out 56-date national tour with her fellow contestants. Lucie is the lead vocalist on the number one single ‘You Are Not Alone’, recorded by the 2009 X Factor finalists. Lucie has since performed around the world as a solo artist and in many highly successful musical theatre productions including Les Misérables, Wicked, Waitress and Legally Blonde. Lucie also represented the UK in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest and is a radio presenter on Magic at the Musicals.

David the hunter

David is best known for his leading roles in multi-award winning West End musicals, having played Dr Pomatter in WAITRESS, Charlie Price in KINKY BOOTS, Guy in ONCE and Henry in THE TIME TRAVELLER’S WIFE.
David’s film and television credits include NATIVITY 3 (Mirrorball), HOLBY CITY (BBC), DOCTORS (BBC) and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s television talent show SUPERSTAR (ITV), where he reached the semi-finals. A concert version of David’s new musical STUCK will be seen in the West End for the first time this December.

Carrie Hope Fletcher

Carrie Hope Fletcher is an award-winning English West End stage actress and singer. Her acting credits include the roles of Éponine and Fantine in Les Misérables, the original British production of Heathers: The Musical and the role of Cinderella in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella. In addition to her stage work, she has written several best-selling novels for children and adults.

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe

They have become the UK’s favourite artists and together they form the ultimate musical duo – Michael Ball and Alfie Boe never fail to lift spirits with their unique combination of powerful vocals and wry charm. They have toured the UK to rapturous applause and sold-out shows and as a duo have sold over 1.5 million albums in the UK, received two Classic Brit Awards, sold out three headlining tours and presented three ITV specials.
Together At Home, the pair’s new sixth studio album arrives on November 8, marking their tenth year making music together and follows the phenomenal success of the duo’s previous five duet albums; their debut Together, became the UK’s biggest-selling album of 2016, beating The Rolling Stones to the Christmas No.1 spot.
